Cyberstar Restore offers various (re)installation services. These include setting up Windows or Linux (Suse or Kubuntu) on individual computers as well as installation of small networks. If you need help to set up and install a new video card or a new printer, we are also at your disposition.
Below, we have listed some examples of packages and single tasks together with some pricing examples. However, we are always ready to custom tailor a package deal, that exactly fits your needs. Just contact us and state your wishes as detailed as possible. We will work out one or more quotation(s) for you to consider.
- Install Windows or Linux on one computer

Charge: 600 Baht (+ 50 Baht per extra installation disk)

- Partition harddisk for second operating system
- Install and setup second operating system
- Configure second operating system to work with existing connections and hardware
- Verify that both operating systems work okay in perfect coexistence

- Setup and configure router
- Connect and configure one computer to work with the network
- Configure and verify Internet access
- Configure and verify security settings

- Connect one computer to existing network
- Setup and verify file and printer sharing

- Check and strengthen security settings

- Install or replace any internal computer component: RAM-memory, sound card, video/graphics card, TV-card, CD or DVD drive, secondary hard drive, internal memorycard reader, and most any other expansion card
- The charge includes installing the hardware, required drivers and verifying the component is properly recognized by the operating system
- The charge does not include for example installing an operating system on the new harddisk or make sure the new TV-card renders a crisp and clear TV-signal

- Connect and configure any external device: printer, scanner, digital camera, webcam, and most any other device
- The charge includes connecting the hardware, installing required drivers and verifying the device is properly recognized by the operating system
- The charge does not include installation of applications

Charges above apply to home service as well as to in house service. However, for home service we have a minimum charge of 400 Baht per visit, plus we charge 10 Baht per km from the city moats. Home service is only available in the Chiang Mai area.

We can assist in purchasing hardware for an additional fee, but we renounce on assisting in the purchase of Windows and Windows based software. (We can't guarantee that software bought in a Thai shop will be accepted as genuine by the copyright owners).
